The Grand Junction Railroad ran from Beacon Park Yard to East Boston. It was operated first by the New York Central, Penn Central, Conrail and now CSX. The main customer was the New England Produce Center. Many distributers occupied the center, selling all types of fruit and vegetables. Trainman Gary Gurske often worked the the GRand Junction Branch of Conrail. After he retired, his fellow railroaders still on the job invited him to ride along with them.
